Salthouse

Steeped in history, this little Norfolk village was once where the commodity of salt was produced from the salt water and stored. Take a drive down to the beach and listen to the waves crashing over the pebbled shore.

Don’t miss

Local catch of the day at Cookies on the green; bring your own alcohol, sit outside in the sea air and enjoy seafood salads and platters.

Did you know?

There used to be a castle on Salthouse beach built in 1798 by Onesiphorus Randall who used to entertain his ladies there!
