The North Norfolk coast is home to such a diverse range of wildlife, you haven’t got to go far to catch a glimpse. Below are listed the very best sites for wildlife, and a seasonal guide to the what you can expect to find:




 
 

Holme Dunes – Norfolk Wildlife Trust


Spring/Summer – Avocet, Little Tern, Black-tailed Godwit, Ring Ouzel.

Autumn/Winter – Wigeon, Snow Bunting, Long-tailed Duck, Grebe, Twite, Spotted Redshank, Redstart, Pied Flycatcher.

Year round – Curlew, Bar-tailed Godwit, Knot, Ringed Plover, Redshank

Titchwell Marsh – RSPB


Spring/Summer – Avocet, Bearded Tit, Marsh Harier, Bittern, Redshank, Ringed Plover, Oystercatchers.

Autumn/Winter – Black-tailed Godwit, Curlew Sandpiper, Little Stint, Brent and Pinkfooted Geese, Common Scoter, Eider.
